We had an amazing bike tour with High Pass Adventures. Purna, the tour operator, helped us with all the planning before we arrived in Nepal. He organized all the permits and provided us with all the necessary information via email and WhatsApp.
Our guide, Gyan Magar, was very friendly and supportive throughout our mountain biking trip. We mostly rode backcountry trails through Upper Mustang along the trekking routes. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the local people were wonderful. We had a lot of fun during the entire journey.
Everything was organized perfectly, and we highly recommend this agency to anyone planning a mountain bike tour, trekking, or adventure trip in Nepal.

A Very Special and Unforgettable Holiday during the Mardi Himal Trek
My family and I spent two weeks in Nepal, which included the 8-day Mardi Himal Trek organized by High Pass Adventure. We owe huge thanks to Ganesh, our guide, his team of porters, and Binod, who assisted in guiding us — truly a dream team!
Everything was perfectly organized for us, so we never had to worry about anything. The service was exceptional throughout the trip. The entire team worked extremely hard and was always conscientious and considerate of our needs. Since this was the highest altitude any of us had ever reached, the team constantly checked on us to make sure everyone was feeling well.
The trek passed through a variety of breathtaking landscapes, and as this was my first trip to the Himalayas, it certainly did not disappoint. I could talk about the experience for hours, and I now have countless amazing photos to look back on!
We all absolutely loved our trip and were very sad to leave. I would not even need to ask my family if they would recommend High Pass Adventure because I already know the answer would be yes. Best experience of my life during the Renjo La and Cho La Pass with the EBC Trek
We completed the Renjo La and Cho La Pass with Everest Base Camp Trek with Purna, and it was organized by High Pass Adventure. Purna and Shiva made sure we had the trip of a lifetime. Purna ensured everything was seamless—he acted as both organizer and guide, arranging everything very quickly, even though we booked the trip after arriving in Kathmandu. He also managed to arrange our Kathmandu–Lukla–Kathmandu flights, even at a time when most flights were operating from Ramechhap.
He is very experienced, fun, and provided excellent service throughout the trek, including good food, great accommodation, and a flexible itinerary. We are very happy with what we paid and truly feel it was great value for money.
We would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone planning a trek.

High Pass Adventure! Best Biking Tour Company
I have just finished a 15-day tour in Nepal, including the Upper Mustang Mountain Biking Trip, with the experienced mountain biking guide Jagat.
I contacted Purna to arrange this tour, and he provided clear and helpful information for all the questions we asked. The logistics were excellent, exceeding our expectations, and the service from guide Jagat was first-class. He is the best biking tour guide I have ever had, and I have traveled extensively over the past ten years.
Jagat is one of the most caring and supportive people you could ever meet when you are far outside your comfort zone. Upper Mustang is a very remote region, and as a first-time trekker and biker, I felt completely safe with both the guide and this agency.
The scenery was breathtaking, the mountains were steep, and the nights were very cold, but Jagat was always there with a smile—at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and throughout the biking route.

We did the Annapurna MTB Expedition with High Pass Adventure, and it was absolutely wonderful! Best Guide to Hired for the Makalu Base Camp Trek
My husband and I decided to do the Makalu Base Camp Trek, but we only wanted to hire a guide and porter through High Pass Adventure. They provided us with an excellent and experienced trekking guide, along with a strong porter. They also arranged all transportation and permits, while we paid for our own accommodation and food along the trek.
The accommodation and food along the route were basic but clean enough. Our guide, Purna, was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, and the locals were friendly and welcoming.
The first part of the trek was remote—we saw fewer than 30 tourists—but the views were still spectacular! In the second part of the trek, we reached the more popular Makalu Base Camp, which is a gateway for climbing Mt. Makalu. There were more people, and we met many friendly fellow trekkers along the way.
I would highly recommend the High Pass Adventure to anyone considering Makalu Base Camp Trek and adventurous trip to Nepal!

My partner and I decided to explore the Nar Phu region and cross the Thorong La Pass on a 14-day trek from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. Mr. Ganesh was our guide, and Tika was our porter. They made our trek truly wonderful and hassle-free. A Perfect Everest Base Camp Trek with a Scenic Helicopter Return to Lukla
We were a group of 9 people who completed a 7-day trek to Everest Base Camp, followed by a scenic helicopter return to Lukla on Day 8. This unforgettable trip was organized by High Pass Adventure, and it was truly an once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything was perfectly arranged, and the team—Ganesh, Sundar, and Gyan—provided excellent support throughout the trek.
Their deep knowledge of the trail and ability to adapt to the group’s pace made the journey enjoyable for everyone. The trek was exhilarating, with breathtaking views at every turn. Memorable places like Namche Bazaar, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Everest Base Camp left a lasting impression—made even better by the perfect weather during our trip from June 7 to 14, 2025.
The helicopter ride back to Lukla offered a stunning aerial perspective of the Khumbu region like nothing else. Our return flight to Kathmandu was also smooth, giving me time to reflect on the incredible journey.

I have done the ABC, EBC, and Annapurna Circuit Trek multiple times with Purna. He took me on different routes, including the Ghorepani Poon Hill with Mardi Himal Trek, which was truly wonderful—I did it twice! Purna, the owner of High Pass Adventure, created the perfect itinerary for me, tailored to my needs. He guided me throughout the trek, making sure we were well, enjoying ourselves, and learning about the countryside and local culture. The food was absolutely delicious at every teahouse we stayed in, and the accommodations were very satisfying. We reached our destinations, and despite the weather, Purna timed everything perfectly so we could capture some of the most breathtaking views at Mardi Himal Base Camp and Poon Hill. Beyond Limits: Conquering Amphu Laptsa Pass
I completed a 15-day trek from Lukla to Amphu Laptsa Pass via Mera La, ending back in Lukla. I found the Amphu Laptsa Pass to be one of the most challenging passes in the Himalayan region of Nepal—but it was an absolutely amazing experience. There were two of us in the group, accompanied by one guide and four porters throughout the trek. We stayed in teahouses for most of the nights and camped in tents for three nights during the trip.
The weather was extremely cold, with daily temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius from above Khare Camp all the way to Chhukung. There was no electricity available in the remote areas, so I used a solar charger to power my watch, mobile and camera. Thank you to the High Pass Adventure team for making this a memorable journey. Special thanks to our main guide, Rohit, and to Purna, the owner and organizer of the trip. Highly recommended to others!

Incredible Memories from the Langtang Valley Trek
I did the Langtang Valley Trek with my friends, and it was a great experience with our guide, Ganesh. The company pleasantly surprised us because it was the only one that offered us a quote for hiring just a guide, as we initially only wanted that. All the other agencies we contacted tried to sell us a full package.
In the end, we decided to go with the full package anyway—and it turned out to be the cheapest yet most complete option. This may have been due to the choice of more basic accommodations, but it brought us much closer to the authentic Nepali way of life. The company paid excellent attention to our trip and showed great flexibility with our changing plans. We were always given the freedom to choose the route, destinations, and stops.
Ganesh, our guide, was always supportive but also knew when to give us space, allowing us to enjoy moments of solitude as if we were trekking alone in the beautiful Nepali valleys. He had an incredible sense for understanding the different moods of our journey. We also shared some enjoyable, friendly moments together—at times it felt like we were traveling with a close friend.

Kailash Mansarovar - A Divine Journey
We, a family of four along with some friends, chose High Pass Adventure for our Kailash Mansarovar Trip. We began discussions with Mr. Purna Karki at the start of the year, and he was always prompt and helpful, answering all our queries very quickly. The accommodation provided in Kathmandu was comfortable, and the transportation to Rasuwagadhi and back was perfect—even though the road conditions were poor.
Once we crossed into Tibet after Rasuwagadhi, the team led by Mr. Ganesh, cook Ramesh, and Chinese guide Tashi took complete care of us, providing delicious food and personalized attention at every step of the journey. Without the guidance and support of this hardworking team, it would have been difficult for us to complete the challenging 3-day parikrama and the entire journey.
Overall, it was a very well-organized trip by High Pass Adventure. Highly recommended to all!

Twice in the Himalayan Mountains with High Pass Adventure
We have twice contracted the services of High Pass Adventure. There was amazing trekking moments in 2023 for Everest Base Camp via Gokyo (with guide Ganesh and porter Shiva) and in 2024 for Everest Three High Passes (with guide Gyan and porter Shiva, our mountain hero).
The teams at the High Pass Adventure, in Kathmandu with Ganesh and Purna and during the trekking were very attentive, careful and respectful with us from beginning to end, presenting us with familiar environments with good accommodation and meal options, as well as program optimizations in case of need. Excellent service that I highly recommend! We would hire again at another opportunity.

I went on the Dhaulagiri Circuit trek with my guide Ganesh and porter Purna. Ganesh is very passionate about trekking and highly knowledgeable. Purna is diligent and never complained despite carrying heavy loads every day. Importantly, both of them remained optimistic even in adversity, and always offered their assistance in times of need.

My daughter and I did the Langtang Valley trek together with HPA's guide/porter Gyan Mager in February. We are very pleased with the guidance and empathy of the management and guides of this organization. We had a great experience and after several treks with different parties in the past, they stood head and shoulders above the rest through commitment and professionalism without organizing everything to pieces. So plenty of room for customization and therefore your own input.

Excellent company, don't hesitate.
Very professional company who provide all needed info and guidance. No surprises. Booked after a quick whatsapp call with the actually guide we were assigned (Gyan). Prices are very competitive and their website has a lot of info. Meet 2 of the 3 managers personally and had a chat with the 3rd one who was trekking himself elsewhere, but still had time to give hints.
Weather was a bit dodgy but our guide helped take the right decision to be able to complete the Manaslu Circuit and Larke Pass. Gyan acted as porter cum guide but stood out as sometimes a better guide than the "real guides" I meet assigned to other travelers from various countries. Excellent English and friendly, willing to share about his life and Nepalese habits and customs.
Great trip, good advice from before trip and all the way to the finish line....
Would gladly book with them again if ever in Nepal.
